The second silver replica stamp bearing the image of the titular statue of St. Paul from the Collegiate Parish Church of St Paul’s Shipwreck in Valletta, was issued by the Philatelic Bureau of MaltaPost p.l.c. on the 20th February 2009, to commemorate the Pauline Year (Annus Paulinus).

This stamp, which is a replica of the Euro 3.00 stamp of the Annus Paulinus Stamp Issue, and which weighs 20 grams, is the second in the series for MaltaPost and for the Maltese postal history. It is being issued in Brilliant Uncirculated (Proof-like) condition. Its size will be 44.0 mm x 31.0 mm, with a thickness of 1.53 mm.

The silver stamp is struck in 99.9% pure silver and is individually numbered, and the issue is limited to a maximum of 2,000 pieces. The stamp is available in a presentation box and a Certificate of Authenticity, and it will sell for Euro 50 (VAT included).

In addition to this silver replica stamp, one can combine the Annus Paulinus Commemorative Folder featuring the same serial number. The Commemorative Folder includes all stamps from the Annus Paulinus Stamp issue, incorporated in a special folder for this unique event, and includes information and illustrations on the titular statues and their respective churches.
